Introducing Smash Buys, Portfolio View and Live Market Data

Introducing Smash Buys, Portfolio View and Live Market Data
Over the past few weeks, we've shipped a handful of features that take the platform well beyond recurring DCA schedules. Here's what's new.

1. Smash Buys: One-Time Purchases, Done Right

Sometimes you don't want to wait for your next scheduled buy. Maybe Bitcoin just dipped and you want to act now, or you've been eyeing a smaller alt coin and want to grab a position today.

Smash Buys let you place one-time limit orders directly through ZenDCA on any of your connected exchanges. Pick your crypto, enter an amount (or use one of the quick-buy buttons), and ZenDCA places a maker limit order to keep your fees as low as possible.

Every Smash Buy tracks its own ROI, so you can see exactly how each individual purchase is performing over time. Pending orders update automatically, and completed ones show your gain or loss at a glance.

2. Portfolio: See Everything in One Place

Connecting multiple exchanges is great for diversification, but it also means your holdings are scattered across different dashboards. The new Portfolio tab fixes that.

Portfolio aggregates your balances across every connected exchange into a single view. A doughnut chart shows your overall allocation, and a detailed table breaks down amount held, current fiat value, and percentage of your total portfolio. You can filter by exchange or view everything together, and expand any row to see the per-exchange breakdown.

It handles the messy stuff behind the scenes too: normalizing naming conventions across exchanges, filtering out dust balances, and caching data so it loads fast without slowing down your dashboard.

3. Top 100 Cryptos: Live Market Data

Below your dashboard tabs, you'll now find a live market overview table showing the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap. Each row shows the current price along with 1-hour, 24-hour, and 7-day percentage changes.

It's a small addition, but it means you don't need to leave ZenDCA to check what the market is doing before placing a Smash Buy or adjusting a schedule.

4. A Dashboard That Works the Way You Do

The dashboard itself got a significant upgrade. All your tools now live in a tabbed interface that you can reorder by dragging and dropping. Put the tabs you use most up front. The layout is fully responsive, so on mobile the extra tabs collapse into an overflow menu instead of cramming everything onto a small screen.

We also added the ability to edit your repeat buy schedules, right from the dashboard. Want to switch from weekly to daily, or change your purchase hour? You can do that now without having to delete and recreate the schedule.

Looking Ahead

These updates are part of a broader push to make ZenDCA a complete toolkit for long-term crypto investors. If you've been using ZenDCA for recurring buys, give Smash Buys and the Portfolio tab a try. And if you're new here, there's never been a better time to start.
