An exchange (or cryptocurrency exchange) is a digital platform that allows users to buy or sell crypto currencies. Since ZenDCA is not an exchange, it works by connecting to your exchange account and trading on your behalf.
Currently ZenDCA supports 4 major exchanges: Binance.US, Coinbase, Gemini and Kraken. If you don't have an account with any of these exchanges, creating one is free and easy.

The benefit of connecting your exchange account to ZenDCA is we buy crypto currencies on your behalf with the lowest fees possible. For example, if you use the Gemini mobile app to buy $100 of Bitcoin every week, your fee currently* would be $2.99 per transaction (reference). On ZenDCA it would be about $0.35.
